Free Support for Families Coping with Childhood Cancer in New England

You are in the right place. This page is where every Love Bus family starts — one application, one team, and support that covers your child, their siblings, and you.

If your child was diagnosed with cancer before age 21 and your family lives in or receives treatment in New England, you qualify to apply. No insurance. No income threshold. No complicated process.

Step 1

Check Your Eligibility

If you or your child was diagnosed with cancer before age 21 and your family lives in or child receives treatment in any of the six New England states — Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine — then your whole family is invited to join our programming. Bereaved parents who lost a child to childhood cancer within the last five years are eligible for family support as well. There are no stipulations on type of cancer, treatment phase, income, citizenship/residency or insurance status. If you are unsure if you qualify, contact our program team for more information.

Step 2

Submit Your Application

The application can be completed entirely online, or downloaded to complete and submit offline. It asks for basic information about your child, your family's situation, and what kind of support you are looking for. There is no lengthy process, no documentation required upfront, and no cost to apply. Note: a medical permission form signed by your child's oncologist will be required before they can start services if they are less than one year in remission/out of active treatment.

Step 3

Hear from Our Team

Our Love Bus program team reviews every application, and a program manager will reach out personally to confirm enrollment, answer any remaining questions, and work with your family to identify which programs and therapies are the right fit. From there, we handle the coordination so you can focus on your family.

What Happens After You Apply

Once our team connects with you, we work together to identify the right programs for your child and your whole family. That includes funded integrative therapies for your child, dedicated sibling support through Sajni's Siblings if you have other children at home, and caregiver support for you as a parent or primary caregiver.

We handle provider coordination, funding, and logistics. There is no reimbursement process and nothing you need to manage on the financial side. You apply. We take it from there.
