Pediatric Cancer Support Programs for Every New England Family
These programs exist because a cancer diagnosis doesn't only affect the child in treatment. Love Bus funds support for the diagnosed child, their siblings, and their caregivers — because healing the family is part of healing the child.
Who Can Access Love Bus Programs?
Any family with a child diagnosed with cancer before age 21 who lives in or receives treatment in New England. No income limit. No citizenship requirement. No restriction based on treatment phase — support is available from diagnosis through survivorship and beyond, including support for bereaved families.
Free Integrative Therapy Programs for Pediatric Cancer Families: Find the Right Program for You
For children and young adults diagnosed with cancer before age 21. Love Bus funds integrative therapies — massage, acupuncture, yoga, Reiki, music therapy, art therapy, therapeutic horseback riding, and more — delivered at the hospital, at home, or in the community.
For the brothers and sisters of children with cancer. Our Sajni's Siblings program gives siblings dedicated activities, connection, and space to just be kids — because every child in your family deserves to feel seen.
For the parents and primary caregivers holding everything together. Love Bus funds integrative therapies and community experiences for caregivers too — because taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your child.
For families whose child is receiving inpatient care. Love Bus delivers integrative therapy sessions directly at Massachusetts General Hospital, Baystate Medical Center, UMass Memorial Medical Center, and Hasbro Children's Hospital.
For families who want to connect with others who understand. Group experiences centered on adventure, animals, art, and alternative therapies bring Love Bus families together for shared joy, community, and the relief of being understood.
Additional Resources
For families who need support beyond what Love Bus provides. We've built relationships with trusted organizations across New England that cover financial assistance, housing, transportation, and more — so your family can find everything it needs.
Support That Lasts
Many families assume support programs are only for active treatment. Ours aren't. Love Bus serves families through every phase — active treatment, remission, long-term survivorship, hospice, and bereavement. Wherever you are right now, there's a place for you here.
Our whole family cancer support programs reach families across Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. If you're in New England, you qualify to apply.
What We Cover
There's no rigid list of approved therapies that families must fit themselves into. Love Bus funds what supports the wellbeing of the child — and the range is broader than most families expect.
- Acupuncture and acupressure
- Oncology massage and therapeutic bodywork
- Art therapy and music therapy
- Yoga and movement therapy
- Dance and gymnastics classes
- Recreational sports and martial arts
- Reiki and energy-based practices
- Therapeutic horseback riding and equine therapy
- Aquatic therapy and adaptive swimming
- Nutritional counseling and dietary support
- Meditation and mindfulness-based programs
- Gym memberships and physical conditioning
- And more than 20 additional modalities
If you don't see what your child needs on this list, ask us. The program is built to be flexible because families in active cancer treatment don't have predictable needs.
